To enhance & upgrade the skills of youth, State Government in its IT Policy has laid special emphasis on Human Resource Development with a twin objective of providing necessary manpower to the IT sector for its growth and to improve the employability of the residents in the IT sector.

Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation (Hartron), a State Government undertaking that has been imparting Computer Education for more than 25 years in Haryana through a well-knit network of Hartron Skill Centres (HSCs) located throughout the State. The courses being run at Hartron Skill Centres are designed and developed by Hartron.

Now the courses of Hartron are also aligned with National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) for increased recognition and wider acceptability of its certification. NSQF is a competency-based framework that organizes all qualifications according to a series of levels of knowledge, skills, and aptitude. At present, various Hartron courses are aligned with NSQF and recorded in the National Qualifications Register (NQR).
